“Slanted” is simply too easy.

“I Love Boosters” is a wickedly clever skewering of the moral rot at the center of the fashion industry delivered with enough vision to make your eyes hurt.

Ultimately lands on a hollow moral relativity to justify its weak finale.

The film itself isn’t a total smash, it’s a more than sturdy final effort from a beloved actor.   

So preoccupied with tragedy that the romance becomes secondary.

This is a film that doesn’t feel the need to explain itself. Nightmares rarely do.
