Disenchanted’s Long Delay Is Actually A Good Thing For Disney

Disney’s Disenchanted is finally being released and the long delay since Enchanted is actually a good thing for Disney. 15 years after Enchanted, audiences will see the return of Giselle (Amy Adams), Robert (Patrick Dempsey), Prince Edward (James Marsden), and, now Princess, Nancy Tremaine (Idina Menzel). Enchanted was a huge success as it twisted the stereotypes of classic Disney princess movies and told a new version of what a happily ever after could be. Disney released the trailer on September 9th, confirming that Disenchanted will be released exclusively on Disney+ on November 24, 2022.

Audiences have been waiting patiently for over a decade for Disenchanted. However, this delay only ensures Disney has created a great sequel.
